Exquisite and beautiful cameo made entirely by hand in Paris around the year 1845 and with the best and noblest materials: in an oval piece of authentic mother-of-pearl the image of the Virgin Mary was masterfully and finely chiseled, joining it to a sterling gold ring. of 18k to which 49 small natural pearls strung on platinum thread are added and to which 5 precious diamonds are also set. The whole set is held and hangs by a ring also made of platinum. The 5 diamonds differentiate 5 groups of pearls along the gold oval: 2 of 6 each in the upper part, 2 of 12 in the central part and one of 13 in the lower part. All this creates a special mini rosary attached to the jewel.
The signal that can even be seen in the photographs as a kind of grain in the central part is not, it is an optical effect that the camera picks up produced by the light in the mother-of-pearl and that even with the naked eye it cannot be seen if it is not it is against the light, like other effects and mystical curiosities of this piece.
Nothing in this piece is by chance, everything is distributed, weighed, used and made for a reason, whether it was initially numerological or of any other knowledge. Measurements: width 30 mm, height 40 mm without ring and 47 mm with ring. Weight 5.40g.
Its state of conservation is excellent and although the original box is no longer preserved, it is delivered in a small antique blue fine velvet box, where it has been kept for the last 85 years.
