Contains the Biblical story with mined family trees. The text was composed for didactic purposes by Pierre de Poitiers, chancellor of the University of Paris between 1193 and 1205. His purpose was to create a booklet that was useful to his students and helped the studies of poor clergymen who could not afford the books. For this he conceived the stories of the Old Testament in the form of family trees presented on a parchment strip that was placed on the walls of the classroom, in order to show all its content at a single glance.
Facsimile edition of the roll format 20 x 390 cm, presented in an elegant green leather simile box on board, format 24.5 x 8.2 x 9.8 cm. Limited to 987 numbered copies and notarized.
