Description

The Kama Sutra (or Kamasutra) is an ancient Hindu text that deals with the sexual behavior of men. Considered as the basic work on love in Sanskrit literature, it was written by Vatsiaiana. The full title is Vātsyāyana kāma sūtra. Chronologically, the author is placed in the Gupta period (which happened between 240 and 550 AD).

Book with the unabridged and annotated version in Spanish by Wendy Doniger and Sudhir Kakar, edited by the Edaf publishing house in 2005, Kama Sutra, by Vatsyayana Mallanaga, bound in paperback with flaps, format 15 x 23 cm. 346 pages.

Accompanied exclusively by a beautiful facsimile bound in editorial leather with a flap, in the oriental style, flat spine, on special paper with gold and silver, format 17.8 x 25 cm. 240 pages containing 119 beautiful illuminations with a high sexual content.

This codex is made up of 119 beautiful and curious miniatures (very explicit and highly erotic) collected over the years, between 150 and 250 years, from different origins in India and Persia, between the 17th and 19th centuries. The miniatures are made by hand, with gold and silver on leaves written, for the most part, love poems of Persian origin, or on irrelevant texts to the content of the miniatures.

Copy complete and in perfect condition. The images on the facsimile are uncensored.
