On February 22, 1993, “Babylon 5: The Gathering” premiered in the USA, the pilot episode with the basic approach of what the series would be: a neutral space station in which the peoples of the galaxy can settle their differences. Throughout the episode the main characters are introduced, although changes would occur in the series, not only in the cast, but in the very essence of the characters.

The first season (Signs and Omens) premiered in the USA on January 26, 1994 and the series was on the air for the five seasons planned by its creator. The last of the episodes of the series was broadcast on November 25, 1998. In Spain it began to be broadcast on June 27, 1996 on TVE1 for the first 2 seasons, then on TVE2 for the third season, then on AXN until the fourth season and Finally, the satellite channel dedicated to science fiction, the SciFi Channel, broadcast the 5 complete seasons in Spanish. Unfortunately for his followers, it has not been a series well treated by the Spanish channels.
