This manuscript responded to the needs of the committenza, private custom, copy mode and production of books in the late Middle Ages, to meet the demand of illuminated manuscripts to the noble houses. The Books of Hours circulated with some frequency between late medieval and Renaissance nobility. Like almost all of them, this is a book that could be defined as luxury decoration that integrates mainly adorned with miniatures, borders that adorn the entire book and are part of a special way of understanding the book and enjoy it. Notable among them the Annunciation folio 14v. and, especially, the shield that closes folio 15r and arms showing the first owner. Although there is only one full-page miniature, both the train of full pages of pincipis or early chapters, as a marginal fringes scattered throughout the text make it an exemplary harmonic perfectly organized and make him reach great beauty decorative.
A curiosity of the study book is that it contains 8 illustrations in facsimile format reproductions and with the possibility of taking them out of the book, from as many pages of the original manuscript, something that is undoubtedly appreciated because it offers additional decorative possibilities, to the liking of the bibliophile.
