Description

Study book of the facsimile edition of manuscript 477 of the Dei Domenicani Convent, Perugia, known as Sermonario de Perugia, manuscripts of San Vicente Ferrer, 14th and 15th centuries.

The convent of San Domenico di Perugia (Italy) guards among its most precious objects the most important sermonary of San Vicente Ferrer. It constitutes a homiletical collection of great value, since it collects the outlines of 477 sermons, which represents more than half of the total of 909 themes preached by the saint, according to the inventory made by Josep Perarnau i Espelt from all the preserved manuscripts . The manuscript also includes, from folio 107r to 111r, a Schedarium thematicum.

This is the first time that a complete and faithful reproduction of the entire original manuscript has been made, since the two previous editions were incomplete and with partial selections of the sermons.

Facsimile edition of the Valencia City Council made in 2006 in 2 volumes. The first, the facsimile of the original manuscript, with Renaissance leather binding, clasps, nails and iron; 8º format, size 13.5 x 16, 230 pages. The second (which is to which this article corresponds) is the great study book that accompanies it, bound in a hard cover, format 17.5 x 25 cm, 656 pages, with the transcription of the Latin text and its translation into Spanish.

This article is ONLY about the study book, in perfect condition, it does NOT have the facsimile.
