Special edition of Graphic Legacy on The Alhambra. It includes 12 facsimiles of John Frederick Lewis illustrating the Alhambra in the mid-nineteenth century, facing 12 original engravings with the current situation of those same rooms, made by the artist Javier Macpherson. Each set of illustrations is housed in a folder with a description of the place that is represented.
It also includes a book with the Tales of the Alhambra by Washington Irving.
All of it in a box-case format 31 x 40 x 5 cm.
Edition numbered notarially and limited to only 75 signed copies, currently very few of them remain.
This edition obtained by the Ministry of Culture the 2nd prize as the best edited work in 2018 in the Bibliophilia category.
In 2018, the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the Legado Graphical publishing house wanted to pay tribute to our most international monument, The Alhambra, named in 1984 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
