Facsimile edition made in 2005 by the Senate of Spain on the Fifth Anniversary of the first edition of the masterpiece of Spanish literature, Don Quixote de La Mancha, by Miguel de Cervantes, of the copy kept in its Library of the 1898 edition and edited by F. Seix.

Edition that reproduces the beautiful binding of the 1898 issue, limited to 1,000 copies, numbered and certified by the Senate and by the publisher. Accompanied by a 12-page notebook with the presentation by the President of the Senate of the facsimile edition, at that time D. Javier Rojo García.

2 volumes bound in golden red cloth on board and with a color plate mounted on the main plane, bearing the coat of arms of the Senate on the back plane. 16.5 x 22.5 cm format, tinted upper edge. 658 and 696 pages plus 8 and 4 color plates out of pagination.

The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote de La Mancha, composed by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Luxurious edition with a proem of the Hon. Mr. D.
