The book, large format, with large and luxurious presentation graphic content, is the second volume of a series devoted to the main courtly scenes of the world; It includes a foreword by the Duke of San Carlos, a story of academic Antonio Bonet Correa on the palatial grounds and monastic Madrid, Giovanni Ricci Novara photographs and addenda of stories of famous travelers.

According to Fabio Lazari, artistic director of the Italian publishing house, the choice of El Escorial between the main palaces of history obeys “not only his artistic interest” (his blanket universal architecture unique painting of artists such as El Greco, Titian, Claudio Van der Weyden or Coello), “but also its symbolic entity, as crucial to understanding Europe’s history milestone.” Louis Godart, art adviser President of Italy, is who has overseen this year and the first volume of the collection, dedicated to the Roman palace of the Quirinal.

The volume features 88 images off color printed on paper Gardamat 170 grams opaque text; 22 tables Gardagloss color paper 150 grams, cut and applied by hand; 14 printed illustrations from the text. Accompany this beautiful gallery two Fabriano Ingres paper litoserigrafías 90 grams in the Printing Art Squadro Bologna, taken from the original designs of Francesco da Urbino, kept in the Royal Library of El Escorial.
