The manuscript of Blessed Saint Andrew of Arroyo is considered a late Blessed who harmonizes two aspects: his images contain the formulas of full Romanesque and some memory of the illustrative tradition of the early-medieval Blesseds. On the other hand, this codex announces the recovery of the visual approaches of classicism. In this book we will find all its splendid miniatures duly commented by specialists of international prestige.
The Blessed Saint Andrew of Arroyo is one of the last great illustrated codices with a huge number of miniatures. It is a rich manuscript where gold is used abundantly.
