8, 8.8 x 12.5 cm format. 256 pages. Decorated capital letters, cartoons and illustrations intaglio. Binding period, Dutch leather and fabric types and gilded irons. Marbled cuts. Signs of rust on paper.
The sample is very rare in trade. In the CCP (Collective Catalogue of Spanish Bibliographic Heritage) there are only two copies (CCPB000530183-1), one in Lambert Mata Public Library of Ripoll (Gerona), and another in the Public Library of Ferrol (La Coruna).

Christoph von Schmid (1768-1854) was a German writer of children’s stories and an educator. Their stories were very popular and were translated into many languages. Considered by many critics as the pioneer of children’s literature.
