Album of the History of Spain. Library of Cultural Albums (No. 2) of the Círculo de Lectores. 1995. In perfect condition, unmarked, unused, with 48 unmounted plates.
In 1993, the Círculo de Lectores began publishing a series of books in which each month 8 color plates had to be placed, in a total of 96 plates in 12 envelopes of 8 each. This one that we offer here is number 2 of the 3 that he published in total. The system was not very successful, since this type of collecting was not very well accepted by its clients, despite the benefits that said system has.
Illustrated hardcover book, 22 x 30.5 cm format, 160 pages with black and white illustrations plus the illustrations of the color plates. Author Fernando García de Cortázar, in collaboration with José Manuel González Vesga. 48 color plates (from 1 to 40 and from 49 to 56) (of a total of 96) are delivered in 2 envelopes so that the buyer, reader, collector… can place them on their respective pages and feel the pleasure of seeing how these pages take shape with spectacular full-color images.
