Among the handwritten jewels that are displayed in the windows of the Library of El Escorial, the number 13 contains a book of hours of Charles V of an exceptional quality, from the sixteenth century, and which is now offered in this article the wonderful edition Facsimile that took place in 2003.

It is not one of the innumerable Books of Hours that were made in the autumn of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance to satisfy the devotion of the laity, but a book expressly written on the occasion of the voyage by sea that made the year 1520 Carlos I of Spain and V of Germany, from Spain to Germany to be crowned Emperor.

Limited, numbered and certified facsimile edition. Facsimile bound in brown goat skin, printed in gold and black on both sides. Format 19 x 28 cm. 76 pages.
