Modus Faciendi cum Ordine Medicandi (How to Approach the Order of Medicine), by Bernardino de Laredo (1482-1540), according to the 1527 edition. First Castilian pharmacopoeia.
Edited by Milagro Laín and Doris Ruiz Otín, published in 2005 by the Health Sciences Foundation in its collection of works from the Library of Classics of Medicine and Spanish Pharmacy. The text presented corresponds to the first edition of “Modus Faciendi cum Ordine Medicandi” from 1527. The transcribed copy belongs to the Old Collection of the Library of the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University (615 L. 23 b). It contains some errors that have been corrected with the complete copy of the same edition held by the National Library of Spain (R/2466).

Copy in perfect condition, unused, bound in an illustrated hardcover, 23 x 31.5 cm. 408 pages with double-column texts and the complete transcription of the original text in Old Spanish.
