Facsimile reproduction of five Papal Bulls granted in 1493 by Alexander VI, and which laid the foundations of international law, regulating the disputes between the kingdoms of Spain and Portugal over the discoveries of the New World. Original documents preserved in the General Archive of Simancas (Valladolid), General Archive of the Indies (Seville) and in the National Archive of the Torre do Tombo in Lisbon.

The complementary study volume of 328 pages carries a study and transcription by Alfonso García Gallo.

Numbered facsimile edition, limited to 980 copies and certified by the publisher, produced in 1992, limited and numbered.
