Facsimile edition of the Treaties of Tordesillas I (ISBN 9788486290054) and II (ISBN 9788486290269), documents that seal the agreement between the kingdoms of Spain and Portugal to divide the New World. The African or Fisheries Treaty is reproduced first, a document in Spanish from the National Archive of the Torre do Tombo, in Lisbon. And then the Atlantic Treaty or Political Treaty is reproduced, a document in Portuguese that is in the General Archive of the Indies of Seville.

Facsimile of the Treaty in Spanish with a 7.7 cm lead stamp; Treaty in Portuguese with a 5 cm stamp. Both Treaties of 16 pages each and format 24.5 x 32.8 cm.

The complementary study book, which accompanies these interesting and extraordinary facsimile editions of 1986 and 1990, is bound in paperback with a dust jacket, 16.8 x 23.5 cm format. 142 pages including the transcription of the Portuguese text and its translation into Spanish, as well as the transcription of the Treaty in medieval Castilian Spanish, by Tomás Marín Martínez and José Manuel Ruiz Asencio.
