Letters, certificates, ordinances, capitulations, entries and appearances are reproduced, kept in the Archives of Simancas, the Indies and the Protocols of Seville.

The documents are organized in a Filing Notebook presented in a gray velvet case, 23.5 x 33 cm format.

The 308-page companion volume contains a study by Demetrio Ramos.
