Facsimile reproduction of five papal bulls granted in 1493 by Alexander VI, and which laid the foundations of international law, regulating disputes between the kingdoms of Spain and Portugal for the discoveries of the New World. They are preserved in the General Archive of Simancas (Valladolid), in the Indies (Seville) and in the National Archive of the Torre do Tombo in Lisbon.

The complementary study volume of 328 pages carries a study and transcription of Alfonso Garcia Gallo. It comes in lined tube.

1995 facsimile edition, limited and numbered. Large format scrolls 48 x 68 cm.
