Atlas of Spain’s degree. Spanish possessions in Africa. 1852 colored lithograph by Doroteo Bachiller in his workshop in Madrid. Spanish Language. Original 1852.

Paper Size: 41 x 31.7 cm. Iron: 32 x 21.3 cm. Colored border marks. Thin paper with traces of the passage of time and some stains on the paper, smooth but with two fold marks. Yet plant has good reading and all its cartographic details.

Double sheet with the south coast of Spain, northern Africa (Morocco and Algeria) and African coast to the situation of the Spanish islands Fernando Poo, Corisco and Annobon.

This map was part of the “Atlas of Spain Bachelor” educational establishments for collection: a collection of geographical maps of all 52 provinces and territories of Spain in the mid-nineteenth century. It is stamped by Doroteo Bachelor, one of the lithographers that after the closure of the Royal Lithographic Establishment, opened his own private company in Madrid in the late thirties.
