Foundational bull of Pope Julius II: Prima Bula institutionis dicti Collegii. Cum praerrogativis, et libertatibus, cum aliquorum praestimoniurum annexations. Dated July 12, 1505. Handwritten on parchment.

It is a document of great importance: the Bull of Pope Julius II authorized the erection of the College of Santa Maria de Jesus (embryo of the University of Seville) and annexation to that College Benefits Alocaz Gomez Cardena, San Lorenzo Sevilla, San Nicolás del Puerto and Parra. It was extended to the canon of the cathedral of Seville, Master of Arts in Theology, Rodrigo Fernandez de Santaella, better known as Maese Rodrigo.

Written in Gothic letters on parchment, the original document of the Bull is well preserved although with some stains and writing something lost in the matching lines with folds.
