Edition of “The Thousand and One Nights”, if it is not the greatest work of Muslim literature, it is the most famous, published in 1976 by the Círculo del Bibliophile in 6 beautiful volumes. It faithfully reproduces the complete text according to the French version made in 1889 on the Arabic original by Dr. Joseph-Charles Mardrus and taking into account the 1704 princeps edition of the first version made by A. Galland with the subtitle “Arab Tales” . Translation from French to Spanish by Eugenio Sanz del Valle, Luis Aguirre Prado and Alfredo Domínguez.

Extraordinary and beautiful edition in High Bibliophile, numbered and limited to 1,499 copies. 6 volumes bound in blue leather stamped in gold on both sides and spine, gold upper edge, guide tape. Format 14.5 x 20.7 cm. Bordered texts printed on laid paper with the watermark of the Círculo del Bibliofilo with some full-page and out-of-pagination illustrations.

All volumes in very good condition, new, although with imperceptible signs of the passage of time.
