A codex for prayer. Pride, envy, greed, gluttony, sloth, anger and lust; the Deadly Sins give name to this codex made in Flanders in the late fifteenth century.

A book of eminent religious character whose main characteristic are the seven miniatures which represented the King David with different characters that show you the consequences of sin. As a curiosity it is noteworthy that in each animal symbolizing one of the sins appears: turkey, with its extended tail, represents pride.

One of the most beautiful codices of the late fifteenth century, since all its pages are illuminated with magnificent miniatures.

Original preserved in the National Library of Spain, Ms. Vit signature. 24-10. Dating from the fifteenth century and author unknown.

2002 facsimile edition, limited and numbered deed. 11 x 16 cm format. 428 pages with 75 full-page miniatures 332 marginal borders. Written in Latin and French. Bound in kidskin restored burgundy, gold stampings six ribs, gilt edges.
