Exclusive artwork by Xaverio Muñoz in 1998 in his workshop in La Zubia, Granada. Original, signed with the author’s dossier in which includes the technical characteristics and the same extensive information, list of solo and group exhibitions. His works are in museums and national and international institutions, among others, in the royal houses of Spain, Denmark, England, Netherlands, Thailand and Morocco.

Technique: petrals maximal, minerals and pure pigments on a support DM. Dimensions: 40 cms. in diameter and 5 cm. thick.

As the author says: “I call” petral “the technique I use in this collection of mystery works where the color and texture of him with a combination of minerals and pigments bound with resins and applied to sheets of wood. The result are works of stony appearance of great simplicity, which in turn are loaded with nuances that change with the light and the viewer’s position. “

“This work reflects the union of Greek letters alpha and omega, formed in a square in a circle whose vertices passes. The letter alpha symbolizes the beginning and the end letter omega, the square and the circle earthly represents the sky. These two letters together in a circle symbolize the knowledge and the human desire for it.
The colors of the letters alpha and omega have been made with the technique “Petral” with pure pigments and minerals to which it is attributed in different initiatory traditions various powers. The color green symbolizes among other things, hope for gaining wisdom, the blue symbolizes the universe and the divine.
