Facsimile edition of 2007 by the Moleiro publishing house of the Arabic manuscript Book of Happiness, original preserved in the National Library of France, signature Suppl. turc 242.

The 16th and early 17th centuries represent the most fruitful period for Ottoman Turkish painting, especially the time of Murad III (1574-1595). Translated from an original written in Arabic by order of the Sultan himself (whose portrait appears in f. 7v), the Book of Happiness contains a detailed description of the characteristics of those born under each of the twelve signs of the zodiac, a series of paintings representing different situations of the human being according to the conjunction of the planets, some physiognomic concordance tables, tables for the correct interpretation of dreams, and an enigmatic divination treatise with which everyone can predict their fate.

Edition numbered and limited to 987 notarially authenticated copies. Facsimile bound in red leather decorated with gold, format 21 x 31 cm. 286 pages containing 71 full-page miniatures richly ornamented with gold.
Complementary study book illustrated in color, bound in hardcover with illustrated dust jacket, guide tape, format 24 x 35.4 cm. 448 pages, which include the full translation of the original text into Spanish.
