Maurice Chappaz (1916-2009) was a Swiss writer and poet. His poetic-satirical work Le Match Valais-Judea is a fable in a divine match between Valais and Judea, a great poetic delirium of folklore. It is a sumptuous Christian-pagan celebration, a powerful book with bitterness and abrupt rejection, a scream of excitement, sarcasm as tumultuous poem, a game between the true and false life.

The work as a deluxe edition consisted of 100 venal copies, numbered and signed by Maurice Chappaz, and presented in an open case containing a bound book, text in two colors, uncut; and a folder containing 17 drawings of Etienne Delessert, indicating page textbook to which it belongs. It also includes an original etching, numbered and signed by Etienne Delessert.

4th textbook format, size 17 x 25.5 cm. 208 pages. Wallet size 17 x 25.5 cm. Case size 17.5 x 26.5 x 5 cm, lined with woven fabric.
