Jacques Bernard de Molay (Burgundy, 1240-1244 – 18 March 1314) was a French nobleman and last Grand Master of the Order of the Temple (the Templars), a military order founded by Hugo de Payens and other knights who participated In the First Crusade, whose purpose was to protect Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land.
The author of this work of art, Ricardo Renedo, was born in Melque de Cercos (Segovia) in 1960. He began painting at the age of 16 in a self-taught way. His work could be framed in a figurative realism, a style that has always been in force, but Renedo tries to form a renewing and enthusiastic personalism. He manages to transmit in his works the quiet of time, serenity, reliving our old memories, with a unique style, very personal and unmistakable.
Picture in perfect condition. Original and unique work.
