Guyot Le Peley, belonging to one of the most influential families of Troyes in the fifteenth century, trust this experienced miniaturist, the development of this sumptuous codex.

Scenes from the Old and New Testaments are combined with events and characters that perfectly reflect life in France in the late Middle Ages. A doubly attractive by the small size of its pages illuminations.

Preserved in a private collection until 2005, Thierry Delcourt managed its acquisition through an auction in London for inclusion in the library collection of the Municipal Library of Troyes (France), where it is guarded today. Ms. Signatura 3901.

This is an interesting and beautiful codex small size, 9.5 x 13 cm format, which makes it doubly attractive. 300 pages integrally miniadas, and beautifully decorated with gold borders. Manuscript written in Latin and French.

Facsimile edition of 2015, numbered and limited to 505 copies, notarized. Bound in red gold stamped leather, ribs, 2 guide tapes, 11 x 14 cm format. Presented in an original, elegant and small open methacrylate box with pedestal, 12.7 x 16.8 x 6.6 cm format.

Accompanied by the corresponding study book, bound in hardcover with illustrated jacket and flaps, format 25 x 32 cm, guide tape, 180 pages with texts in Spanish and German.
