Facsimile edition made in 1986 of the fantastic compendium of navigation, ethnography, commerce, oriental medicine and nautical, which will be made by the Venetian Marco Polo (1254-1324). Famous incunable of 1485. It consists of an introduction with the traveling experiences of its author and three books with the stories, of the going, the stay and the return. The copy conserved in the Capitular and Columbian Library of Seville is reproduced, with apostilles by Christopher Columbus himself, original printed in Antwerp in 1485.

The facsimile binding is done in dry stamped goatskin, format 15 x 20.5 cm, 156 pages in aged paper. Limited edition of 980 numbered and certified copies. Accompanied by a protective case, open type dust cover in editorial cardboard, format 14.5 x 21 x 3 cm.

The complementary volume of 472 pages with edition, translation and studies by Juan Gil. Texts in Spanish. Format 17 x 23.5 cm. There is also a version with texts in English, with fewer pages, format 17 x 23.5 cm. Tell us if you want the book in Spanish or English.

The original belonged to the personal library of Christopher Columbus. At his death he went to the hands of his son who created the Colombian Library and to his death, to the Cabildo of the Cathedral of Seville.
